Overview:  

Strategar LLC is a marketing and advertising agency whose mission is to help brands connect with communities. We are experts in key categories and segments including food, agriculture, education and health. With a working knowledge of the transcreation process and impact creative. Our team of creatives and strategists is looking for a creative to drive and manage the look and feel of clients across the agency as Creative Operations. This role will be very involved in the day-to-day process of the various accounts we service.

General Requirements:

  • 8+ years in Account Management at an Advertising Agency or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of the Advertising Account Management process - ability to jump in and hit the ground running
  • Maturity and strength under pressure
  • Appreciate the importance of good work and be able to help clients appreciate and buy great ideas
  • Support Brand Account Director or Account Lead on all assigned accounts
  • Effectively manage, mentor and inspire Brand Account Executives, Coordinators and interns
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Work well and create solid relationships with other agency departments and business units
  • Present yourself professionally within the agency and with our clients
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Desire to devote personal time to augment on-the-job training with personal reading, extra-curricular projects and seminars
  • Four year degree or equivalent experience
  • Workamajig experience (a plus)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (a plus)

Responsibilities: (organized by area of focus)

General across all areas

  • Work with Brand Account Director to manage the client's expectations and build a positive and collaborative relationship with them
  • Embraces project management tools and takes ownership on the workflow established while making suggestions to improve how we operateEncourage strong team communication and collaboration
  • Set an example of morale and pride in the agency and its clients
  • Attend in person meetings in the Dallas area as requested 
  • Willingness to travel and pitch with leadership (likely to be 3-4x per year)

Business Knowledge and Leadership

  • Adopt the language of your client's business as your own and know their business better than they do
  • Help the client develop their marketing plan and align agency efforts to successfully meet business objectives using breakthrough ideas
  • Seek training opportunities in your client’s business and industry
  • Cultivate deep relationships with your clients and expand those relationships into other areas of business, up and down the chain of command
  • Work with strategy team to develop strategic planning skills

Creative Development, Presentation and Production

  • Work with Creative Team to shepherd through daily details
  • Partner with the Brand Design team to strategize the presentation and sell-in of campaigns
  • Upon approval of advertising/campaign concepts, work with production departments in the general areas of schedule, bidding, estimate preparation and approval, pre and post production
  • In most cases, Account Supervisors will be responsible for attending and fulfilling the role of agency management representation at creative productions
  • Manage project timelines, deliverable progression and next steps

Media

  • Ability to create a strong media strategy and assist in getting timely approval of media plans
  • Media expertise in negotiating, planning and buying media with partners and vendors
  • Work with Account Executives and Coordinators to prepare media buys and insertion orders
  • Work with creative Team to develop media assets when needed
  • Prepare media reports as needed showing campaign results and takeaways based on initial campaign objectives

Financial Management

  • Work with Brand Account Director to determine invoicing schedule
  • Work with Account Executive or Coordinator to develop client invoices based on approved deliverables and scopes of work/project quotes

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience managing or supporting Account Services teams
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, G Suite. PC and Mac
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Manage internal creative teams to meet the client's expectations across various projects and drive concepting and build a positive and collaborative relationship with teams within Strategar and with clients
  • Support the Account Director in organizing and leading the account

Business Knowledge and Leadership

  • The ability to take on learning various client brand guidelines and understanding various businesses to develop branding voice and creative guidelines

  • Continually look for ways to move the business forward by keeping up with trends within the client industry and marketing

Strategic Planning

  • Ensure the direction and ideas being pursued by strategic planning support the clients overall marketing/business objectives
  • Work with accounts on strategic planning to expand clients thinking
  • Work with accounts to develop presentations to sell in creative and join client meeting for briefings, concepting, and presenting creative

Creative Development, Presentation and Production

  • Oversee creative development and shepherd projects through daily details and prepare for client presentation 
  • Partner with the Accounts and Brand Design team to strategize the presentation and sell-in of campaigns
  • Partner with accounts on the expansion of an ideas or concept through various mediums and agency business units
  • Work with Account management on advertising/campaign concepts, work with production departments in the general areas of schedule, bidding, estimate preparation and approval, pre and post production
  • Ensure that the client and agency are protected vis- -vis legal, network clearance, talent negotiations and payments, rights and usage of materials

Media

  • Work with the Media & Account supervisor on review of media buy and strategy
  • Review budget and work with Account Service on creative rotation on set tactics 
  • Review of all creative for Media buys, SEO terms, and copy development

Financial Management

  • Develop project quotes and scopes of work across all departments and understanding of project process
  • Confirming quote fits with creative and accounts along with adjustments to process to fit client budget

Qualifications:
